These beautiful round Larimar stones are uniquely set in a shiny sterling silver horns and attached to french wire to create truly stand out earrings.  The size and shape make these earrings modern and edgy.  Larimar is a rare stone mined only in the Dominican Republic where it was thought to be from the Lost City of Atlantis. It actually comes from a volcanic deposit on the island.  The discoverer of this stone named it for his daughter, Larissa, and mar meaning sea in Spanish.  The soft blue color looks like the waters of the Caribbean Sea.  Handmade in New Mexico by a Navajo artist.
